Resolved "Remove empty categories" not doing anything

The "Remove empty categories" does nothing. No visual feedbacks, no error messages, and no categories are deleted (i created an empy new category just to test). This is on:

* Joomla 3.5.1
* VirtueMart 3.0.16
* CSVI 5.21.2

Important: I know my CSVI version is not supported anymore, I have some existing automations that makes the upgrade a bit complex. I'm only asking if it is a known issue and if you can kindly point me to an existing solution.

Hello,

There is no known issue with deleting categories from VM, this worked on a test installation for me as well. The only thing I can think of is that there may be too many categories to deal with and it reaches the maximum number of entries for an array, or perhaps an inconsistency in the category tree.
