We frequently re-import the same product SKUs and I just wondered, does this change the product ids in the database?
If the products are there already in database then product ids won't change, RO CSVI will find the existing products based on product SKU and update them. If products are not existing in database then new records are inserted as RO CSVI does not find the matching product based on product SKU in import file and that would generate new product ids. So your products exist in database or not?
If it does, then past orders will no longer contain references to the products.
Yes this is a serious issue.
