Hello

The export worked great with Category Path :) thank you

Now I would like to update categories in products.

Is it possible import using category_id ? Or must I use category_path?

Many thanks

Hello Claire,
Since this is a new issue and is with import, i have created it as a new topic.

Is it possible import using category_id ? Or must I use category_path?

Yes, you can use category_id field for import. Multiple categories are separated by |.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hey Claire,

Although the IDs are possible we promote the use of category_path because the IDs are controlled by the database. By using the path you can be sure the correct ID is assigned. In case a category_path does not exist, RO CSVI can create it for you on the fly.
Kind regards,
