Could you clarify: when to expect a new release?

I also want to add that the same problem is observed in the case of a scheduled task. (CRON)

Hello,
Thank you for confirming that solution is working. We have fixed it with code so there is no need to generate new access token for cron imports. Please load the attached patch file and run the cron. Check if the error "Redirect URI must be absolute" is gone with the fix in patch file.
