Hello :)
The older version of CSVi I was using for Virtuemart in J2.5 detected the MAX EXEC time, counted and resumed import automatically. Is this feature not built into the version for J3?

I ask as the server continues to import the whole file but CSVi shows the server didnt respond (or similar), where as the old version for J2.5 counted the max exec and automatically stopped and resumed importing and confirmed success, info etc on completion.

Thank you

Hello,

This is still present in CSVI 6 but with more control for you. The detection of the maximum execution time is flaky. Now you can fine-tune it. See the Manage timeouts document on how to adjust the settings.
Kind regards,

Thank you, will take a look. Seems on 40K pricing on product import it does actually update the message after every 1000 products without touching any settings. The first test import was less than 1000 and did not update the message.

Hello,

Not updating the message can happen, the timeout is not exact science :) With manual control it becomes more predictable for sure.
Kind regards,
