Resolved publish imported products automatically

the csv file i'm importing is supplied from a supplier and i can't amend it before import

i don't have a "publish" column so how would i go about making all products that import with availablility in stock as published?

attached is a sample of the csv

Hello,

You will need to add the published field to your list of template fields at the position of the InStock field. You will then have to create 2 replacement rules one that replaces In Stock with Y and Out of Stock with N. Assign the replacement rules to the published field to make them do their magic.

great thats working, many thanks

one more question, it is importing the weight and setting it to kilogramme by default, how can i get it to set to gramms by default?

i've tried setting default unit of measure to gramms in virtuemart configuration screen but the products still default to kilogramme

Hello,
You can try importing product_weight_uom field with value G for products you need to change, this will convert unit of measure to Grams.
