Resolved Product with multiple prices and quantity range

Hello,
To get multiple prices for a product use Price export template instead of product template. The fields for quantity range price_quantity_start and price_quantity_end are available in price export template and not in product export template.

Thanks I tested with price template and it works but found 2 issues.

The problem is that in price template only "product_price" is available and is the base price not the sales price.

We need to show the price with tax (salesprice) also ordering by product_sku does not seem to work.

The price template has only a few fields while the product template has a lot more + many price fields.

The "discountamount" we use is also only in the product template and missing in the price template.

Won't be easier to combine them? Isn't the price anyway something inside the product? B)

They are separated for a reason. If you want to import multiple prices with the product import, you would need to duplicate all the fields that you are importing. Exporting this, users will tell us that they have too many duplicates

Now to get back to your issue, there is indeed no way to export the prices for the different quantities at the moment. I will have a look at this and see what we can do.

The problem I see is field "custom_value" only seems available in product export template.

After testing the price export I remembered why we use product export instead and is cause there are custom field values that we export related to the products.

Price export is missing "Custom field title" in the parameters of the template so maybe is easier for you simply adding price_quantity_start and price_quantity_end to the product export template?

The field custom_value is special for import/export custom fields. You didn't mention this before, yes this field is not related to prices but just to products.

This I need to think about if I want to do that because it will cause more support requests about why people have duplicates in their export file.

Yes sorry I forgot cause we actually combine 2 fields in one, the "SKU" and the "product_attribute" naming all that product and then the "custom_value" so yes is a product export but with price fields.

In the worst case I can always create a second template just for the price of products with multiple prices but you still won't be able to export the named fields.

So I guess is a sneaky one we have here.

In the next release you will have the price_quantity_start and price_quantity_end field available in the product export as well. This way you can run a single product export for products with multiple prices.
