I think there is a problem with the export of Product_URL, since upgrading to 3.7.1 Joomla and 3.2.2 vm and 7.1 csvi pro. Product alias is not longer being overwritten to the csvi_sefurls table, so the old alias is included in the xml file and creating a 404 in google merchant centre.

Are you aware of a problem?

At last solved it, all I had to do was "update available fields"..... no problem with csvi...

Actually it hasn't solved the problem.

It fixed one link, we currently have 300 + products where the link generated for google merchant center is using the old alias and not the new one.

Anybody have a fix?

Hello,

CSVI doesn't create the links by itself but requests them from Joomla by mimicking a user. The Update of SEF links from the maintenance menu will empty any existing links in the csvi_sefurls table and then request new ones based on the products in your shop. When you run that update, do you still get the old URLs?
Kind regards,

Yes sorry you are right csvi pro doesn't create the links but writes them to csvi_sefurls. If you recall you implemented this when the google feed export was timing out on my site.

The answer is yes! When I run the export i still get the old urls, didn't do this before I ran the Joomla update to 3.7.1, vm to 3.2.2 on friday. I upgraded to latest csvi pro (7.1.0) in the hope it fixed the issue but nothing changed.

Thought I fixed it yesterday, but it fixed one link only. Strange must've been a fluke.

All the links are generated from product alias and new products don't seem to be affected. However if I place the correct url into the url field this then creates the correct link in the xml feed.

My feeling is that something has altered within the new version of vm causing your csvi_sefurls to break, or , there is a permissions change and I will need to find the setting in vm.

Hope that makes sense. Can you help?

Roland did not talk about export but refreshing SEF URLs in CSVI maintenance menu. You mean you did Refresh URLs in maintenance menu and you are still seeing the old urls?

Sorry my misunderstanding... doing that now will update when complete.

FYI: This only became an issue from Friday after update, prior to that never had to run "Refresh URL".
