Resolved product desc unknown character

hello
i have an xml with this character in a lot of products on product description




i have set the clera html strip rule
i have tried an find and replace rule
all my tries come with an errron format to this character
any idea how to get rid of this??

Couldn't see the character in your post. Can you mark it in the screenshot on which character you are talking about? Also what is the error you see with the character?

Hello,
That seems to be an invalid character in XML. You cannot find and replace that with RO CSVI rules. Also in my browser those characters do not show up. See attached screenshot. Are you doing an export or import? Is product_description field wrapped with CDATA tags?

if you right click and inspect that line you will see the invalid character (or use chrome instead)

Yes i used chrome and checked with inspect. Does not show the character in there.

i use cdata and it is an export

product_description is stored in database with this invalid character and that shows in export. We do not have a way to correct these invalid characters in RO CSVI as we do not know them. You may have to edit the description in VirtueMart to remove these characters and save it.
