Resolved Problems with repeated imports and multiple variants

Hi,
i'm importing products with multiple variants using two files, father products (fileArticoli.csv) and son products (fileArticoliFigli.csv)

In some products i get this warning:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/clients/client0/web8/web/components/com_virtuemart/sublayouts/customfield.php on line 158

line 158 in that file is
foreach($customfield->selectoptions as $k => $soption){

and no multiple variants are found in the product.

There are two strange things
- tried to delete the product and import that again (creating two files only for this product deleting all other lines), i get no errors, also importing it several times
- running the cron import (same template) the errors gets out also in some othet products

Could you please tell me where can i send you private information (log, templates, import files etc.)?


Joomla! version: 3.8.6
Version of the extension you are using: VirtueMart 3.2.12

Hello,
There are two strange things

The error you are seeing is in VirtueMart file and not a CSVI file and this could be the reason for the above cases. It is really strange that you are seeing this error on CSVI import.

Could you please tell me where can i send you private information (log, templates, import files etc.)?

Hello,
I see the error on the category or product details page after the import. In import logs i can't see anything wrong

I don't think the error is because of the CSVI import. The error is not in CSVI file but in VirtueMart. Are you sure that you did not see this error before your import?

Forum or private messages attachments limits don't make me send you logs or import files... I can send them with wetransfer is it ok for you?

You can send it to my email at tharuna@csvimproved.com. But again i would suggest you to check your VirtueMart while i check if i am able to reproduce this error with your files.

It is really strange that you are seeing this error on CSVI import.


I see the error on the category or product details page after the import. In import logs i can't see anything wrong

The error is generated because importing the producs the fields of multiple variants are not always correctly filled.
If i fill them by hand or for the majority of products imported the error is not fired, being the fields correctly filled.
