Hi,
I am using CSVI Pro 6.6.4, VirtueMart 3.0.18 and Joomla! 3.6.4
I am trying to import a list of products.
I have set up my product fields (please see attached fields file) and most fields are fine.
I am having trouble with the category_name field (in my file, its called ProductCategory).
The column does not show up in the import preview (attached) or the import. I have tried manually creating the relevant categories.
The same is true for picture_url (ImageURL for me). In my file its in the format http://address/folder/filename.jpg. I have created a rule to strip the http://address/folder/ portion, but nothing at all shows up in the import preview, not even the column header.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Justin

Hi,
category_path got it, thanks!
For anyone else with similar issues, the field name to import product images is file_url
Many thanks,
Justin

Hello,
There is no available field called 'category' in CSVI, you need to use field category_path which would take the value like category/subcategory1/subcategory2. Try this and let me know. If you have any issues post the debug log of the import.

Hi,
I have followed the linked guide for "UPDATING THE TASKS" and "UPDATING THE AVAILABLE FIELDS" but I still do not see 'category' in the Available fields list. I have screengrabbed the top of the Available fields list in case that shows what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for your help!

Hello Justin,
Please try to update your available fields and then try the import. See if it solves your issue.

Hello Justin,
In your template settings on File tab, set Use file for configuration to No, save the template and then try the import. Check if you see all fields in preview after that.
