Hi there,

I'm running CSVI Pro 7.6.2 on VirtueMart 3.2.14

I am having a difficult time importing Multi Variant Products onto my site. I think I have followed the guide correctly and I am using 2 different CSV imports, 1 for parents, 1 for children.

The products and all of their fields seem to import correctly and they are labelled correctly in the Multi Variant Custom Field with the correct ramifications . The issue is with the Child Products, they are imported as a child product of their parent and are shown in the Custom Field but the ramifications are not applied. I could go through and do this manually but this would take weeks and weeks as there are more than 500,000 products.

I have attached screenshots below with my configuration, CSVs and what the ramifications look like after I complete the import.

Logs show no errors at all. They all look like as follows:

277 Updated Success Product language updated
278 Updated Success Product updated

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

Hello,
Can you send us the sample of your import files, import debug log and copy of your import templates? To get the debug log check How to get debug information? document. You can create a copy of your template from CSVI Maintenance page, select CSVI Pro in first dropdown and Backup templates in second dropdown and select your import template and click continue. Post the downloaded XML file with other files.

Hello,
You can run the import of smaller files to get a smaller debug log and so it is easy for us to check. Can you also please send the sample of your parent and child import files? It will help me to run the import and check what is going on with the import. You can send me a private message attaching these files.

Issue resolved.

Solution was to import Parent and Child products from the same import file. All ramifications working perfectly.
