Hi,
i get this errormessage when importing Joomla 3 dokuments to a Joomla 4 installation:

Explanation: This error means that something has gone wrong but the server does not want to tell you what exactly happened. The only way to find out is to ask your hosting provider for the error message in the error log. For further information you can check the 500 Internal Server Error document on our site. Without the real error we will not be able to help you.

Status message: Internal Server Error

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in C:\1xampp\htdocs\bjuvsweek\libraries\vendor\joomla\database\src\Mysqli\MysqliStatement.php on line 433

I attach the file MysquliStatment.php

This is running Xampp on localhost Joomla 4.2.3 PHP 8.0.19

Regards Lasse

Hello Lasse,
This is not a problem with RO CSVI import but with your XAMMP. In XAMMP change max_execution_time setting in php.ini file. Run the import and check.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Lasse,

You can manage the timeouts by setting the number of rows to import per run. See our Manage timeouts document on how to fine-tune these settings.

Hello Lasse,
Two things to try

1. Change the Lines per import to 50 and run the import
2. You can also run the import as cron job from command line interface. With CLI there are no server limits and import should finish without error.

Please try and let me know on how that goes.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello, unfortunately setting it down to 50 didn't work.Tried to start with cron but when I press the icon nothing happens.Sorry for so many questions but I'm a bit new to this.Haven't used Cron so I don't know how to go about it.Do you have any other suggestions since you say that there should be no problems running CSVI.I bought the RO CSVI just to get it as simple as possible.SINCERELYLasse

Hello Lasse,
unfortunately setting it down to 50 didn't work.

Try setting lines per import to 10 and run the import. If you are importing images then set Process Image to No on Image tab in import template. Image import takes time and that could be a possibility for getting timeout error. See if importing only articles without image goes without any error.

Tried to start with cron but when I press the icon nothing happens.Sorry for so many questions but I'm a bit new to this.Haven't used Cron so I don't know how to go about it.

Please check the linked document in my previous reply to know on cron import.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello, now it works as it should.I exported the articles year by year and imported them and then I saw for the first time how good your program is.There were articles from 8 years ago so it was perhaps too much.I also tried bringing the pictures and that also worked perfectly. Thanks for all your help, very nice to have you there on support. Thanks for an excellent support.SINCERELYLasse
