I created the template and I try to leave it but it gives me this error:
ErrorUnknown column 'c.category_parent_id' in 'field list'
I attach screenshots also because I can't find any field to add in the template fields for export

Hello,
This error would happen if you are using older version of VirtueMart. Load the attached patch fileLoad the attached patch file and see if error is gone in export.

Hello,

You are mixing up 2 different things. Your first issue is using the browser to export and your second issue is the cron export. Tell me:

  1. Can you export via the browser?
  2. Is the export file created using the cron? It looks like Plesk doesn't like the output to screen.

now if I try with the browser the server times out because it is a very large file.
There are many products with tons of custom fields

I came back and created the file only which has no extension, I tried to rename it to csv but it does not open it

To check if the export works you can set the export to get only a few records. To do that go to the export template settings and on File tab set From record to 1 and To record to 100, save the template and run the export.

Check if you have set Filename for exported file field on File tab with extension. That would be a reason you are getting a file without extension. If you still have issues post the debug log of the export. To get the debug log check How to get debug information? document.
