Regarding the export issue, there could be many reasons you are seeing the error. Can you try to export 5 records and see if it finishes? To do that edit your template, on File tab set From record to 1 and in the To record set 5, save the template and run the export. If it works then try increasing the number of records and see where it hits the error.
If you have issue with exporting 5 records, check if there is any firewall blocking CSVI and also check the folder permissions. You can check the folder permissions from About us page in CSVI.
If the error still persist, post the screenshot of your Javascript console as explained in
Using firebug to analyse problem.
