Hi!
I have problems after installing CSVI Pro 6.1.0 (Joomla! 3.4.3 Stable, VirtueMart 3.0.9):
1. When I open Maintenance - Maintenance and select something in drop down I get "Internal server error"
2.When I open Maintenance - Available fields - there are no normal virtuemart fiels like category_name, category_parent_id, file_url, media_published, file_title
Where and how can I add this fields?

Hello,

When you are missing fields, you can click on the Update button on the Available fields page.

As for the "Internal server error" this only means something went wrong but the server won't tell us what. It can be anything. Please check the server error log for the actual error, with that error you will know where to look. CSVI does an AJAX call when you select something from the first dropdown, it may as well be a plugin that interferes with the AJAX call.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Still have problems with updating available fields, but I renamed some fields in the DB and now export works fine. But I have problems with import. I'll try to find some info at forum and maybe later start new topic.
"An error occured processing the records. The error occured is shown below if available. Additionally check your server log for any errors or warnings."

If you see the error you mentioned here, check the Using Firebug to analyze import problems document. This way you may get a better idea of what is failing. This may as well be the reason why the Update isn't functioning either.

Here are two errors. One from updating available fields and second from file import. CSV file also included. I used example from here http://www.csvimproved.com/en/support/import/203-virtuemart/940-import-virtuemart-2-categories

Hello,

The first error is not from CSVI but from something else on your site that is trying a cross domain request which browsers don't allow. Such a JavaScript request can interfere with CSVI so you should fix it.

The second error might be related to the template fields. Go to the template fields and select them all and then click the Publish button and try the import again.

Before you start the import, the fields in your template do not match the fields in your file. The order must be the same.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I'll try to think about first problem.
About second problem - I placed fields in the same order and published them, but the error is the same. I've tryed to analize file and here is what I get: BOM error. What does it means?

As you can see in the screenshot, the BOM is the Byte Order Mark. These are 3 invisible characters to say the file contains special characters. This is also known as a UTF-8Y file. This means you either need to save the file again as UTF-8 or set the option Auto-detect delimiters to No. Otherwise the file can't be read correctly and will give you a 500 error and log you out.

P.s. in your CSV file, change the field category_name to category_path otherwise it won't import either.
Kind regards,

RolandD

You shouldn't have to modify the database, running the update of the available fields and/or reset of tasks should be enough.

I still don't know what to do with updating Available fields arror, so modification of DB is faster for me.
But it's really strange why in DB there are so so many unnecessary fields and so few necessary fields like product_name or file_url.

Unnecessary for you, useful for others ;)

The reason there are so many fields is because these fields exist in your database and CSVI indexes all the fields.
