Hello.
I'm trying to import some products from a CSV file to Virtuemart and I have some problems:
- The name of the product is "Language Missing id xxx"
- Images are not imported
- The category is not created
- The manufacturer is not created
- No amount of product available (product_in_stock)
- No Price (product_override_price or product_price)

Finally, I can do all this in a single import products?

Thank you
Italo

Hello Italo,

Edit the templatefields and empty the column Your field. After that, run the import again and things should be better.
Kind regards,

Hello,

To start I found that your CSV file is not UTF-8 encoded, this is the first thing you need to change. Read more about it in the Save a CSV file as UTF-8 document.

The images, turn off the option to generate an image name because it overrides your external image setting. This is why the image is not downloaded.

With those 2 changes, see how it goes. I can check the log again if needed.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Not Solved ! :S
- CSV file is UTF-8

product_name (Language Missing id xxx) , images, and product_override_price not insert.
category_path - not insert
and manufacturer_name not insert
product_in_stock - not insert

product_s_desc - OK
product_desc - OK
product_sku - OK

Hello Italo,

CSV file is UTF-8
Yep, you're file is good.

Just a question, when you go to Template fields, are all the template fields published? It looks like not all fields are published.

Edit: I said published but I meant check if the fields are recognized. Perhaps you need to open and save them again.
Kind regards,

RolandD

SOLVED.
I select all template fields and select published, but If you look the pictures you will notice that you can not see what fields are published.
First image - I think that some files are not published. (import not successful)
Second image - I select all fields and I published
Third image - All fields are published. (import successful)
There is no difference between the first and the second image, how do I know which fields are published?

Hello Italo,

The published state actually shouldn't matter for import, all fields need to be used that are set in the template. However for export the published state is important.

I am going to check what is happening here and fix it where needed for the next release.
Kind regards,

RolandD
