Hi Guys

When i import from Virtuemart 2.0.20b from a Joomla 2.5.14 to Virtuemart 3.0.4 on a Joomla 3.4 site everything imports but the price is all wrong and not in the same currency. These are the fields i export/import:
1. product_sku
2. product_name
3. category_path
4. product_price
5. product_currency

Is there a feel i need to add to make sure the currency and price export/import correctly or what am i missing?

Kind Regards

Hello,

The fields look OK to me but I will need the debug log to see what actually happens on import. This info is requested at the top of the page under Looking for a useful answer?. Post the debug log and let's see what it tells us.
Kind regards,

RolandD

So in the debug log I see this for your first product
UPDATE `drml6_virtuemart_product_prices` SET `virtuemart_product_id`='5719',`virtuemart_shoppergroup_id`='0',`product_price`='36200',`override`='0',`product_currency`='153',`product_price_publish_up`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`product_price_publish_down`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`price_quantity_start`='0',`price_quantity_end`='0',`created_on`='2015-03-16 09:48:44',`created_by`='397',`modified_on`='2015-03-16 09:48:44',`modified_by`='397',`locked_on`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`locked_by`='0' WHERE `virtuemart_product_price_id`='6292'
This is a price update where the product currency is set to 153 for the ZAR and the price is 36200. What is wrong with the currency and the price? You see something else for this product? This is for SKU 06-0120S.

It is not a browser cache by any chance that you see something different?
Kind regards,

RolandD

On Virtue-mart it tells me the price is € 2746,38.
So i get the wrong currency and the wrong price.

It doesn't make sense of course if you get the values above stored in the database and you see something else on screen. This simply means the values are taken from somewhere else.

The SKU 06-0120S is that ID 5719?
Kind regards,

It really doesn't make any sense to me that a price of 36200 is inserted into the database and you see a price of 2746,38. That would mean a negative tax rate or a huge discount.

Can you do an export of just the product_sku, product_price and product_currency fields and send that to me via email or private message?
Kind regards,

RolandD
