Hi is there a way to add in the ability to export the authorize.net payment details? We are trying to get the authorization code and transaction id as part of our order export.

I was looking into adding custom fields to see if that was a solution, but appears the page is outdated as I couldn't find the override.sql file in the path mentioned on this page https://csvimproved.com/support/questions-and-answers/902-adding-your-own-custom-fields

Hello,

Honestly, I don't know. I have heard of Authorize.net but that is where all my knowledge regarding them ends :)

First question would be, where is this data stored in your database? Once we know that it would be possible to give you an answer as to how easy or difficult it is to export the data.

I couldn't find the override.sql file
The override.sql file itself you need to create manually. I did update the document with the path example of where to create it. Thank you for pointing that out.
Kind regards,

It is in the database table - virtuemart_payment_plg_authorizenet

and is linked to an order by using the orderid in a virtuemart_order_id column within the table

Little surprised this seems like a new thing, the authorize.net payment plugin has been included in the full virtuemart download file for years. Hopefully it can exported farely easly.

Hello,

Little surprised this seems like a new thing, the authorize.net payment plugin has been included in the full virtuemart download file for years.
It is also a very American payment solution, as a European we can't sign up.

CSVI doesn't support any payment plugins shipped or not shipped with VirtueMart. Now back to your question, how to get the data out. CSVI does come with a Custom table export option. How that works is explained in the Custom tables export document. This will allow you to export the data from the virtuemart_payment_plg_authorizenet table.

Now there is no option to combine multiple tables in this export so it can't be exported with the order data in the same export. A spreadsheet would be needed to combine the both. The option to combine multiple tables in the custom export is under development and will be released with CSVI 7.2.0 but that is going to take some time I am afraid.
Kind regards,

RolandD
