Resolved not configured Joomla! to use the MySQLi database type

Good day
I am a newbie to CSV
I get the following

You have not configured Joomla! to use the MySQLi database type, this is required to be able to run the export. To set the database type, go to Global configuration and on the Server tab select MySQLi as Database Type under Database Settings.

My database is MySql - How can I use this or must it be MySQLi
I did change the Server tab to MySQLi but I see no values via CSVI -

I assume I have to create the MySqli database and add login details via Joomla.
How can I copy my current MySql database as a MySqli database.

Platform:
Joomla! version 3.6.5
CSVI Pro 7.2.3

How can I use this or must it be MySQLi
Your database server is MySQL, which is fine. There is also a driver which talks to your database and there are 2 options here, one is mysql and the other is mysqli. The mysqli is the improved version of mysql. That is why it has an i behind it.

All you need to do is go to System => Global configuration and on the Server Type set the Database Type to MySQLi. Save the configuration and you are done.
