Is there a way to force Joomla to send the “New user” email after creating a new user using CSVI import? Has one to do his manually?

Hello,

RO CSVI does not send out emails for anything. Sending emails in bulk is better done in extensions made for such a purpose, like a mailing list program. An example of this is AcyMailing, you can import email addresses there as well and then send out emails.
Kind regards,

Thanks RolandD.
But RO CSVI does not has to do this, Joomla does this when one creates a new user manually through the admin page. But if I create new users using RO CSVI, Joomla does not send the “New user” email. I’ve tried (to my knowledge) every possible Joomla and CSVI setting, but the email is never sent. But probably my knowledge falls short and can you help me?
Thanks

Hello,

You did not miss any setting. RO CSVI stores the data directly in the database and doesn't go through Joomla, so no emails are sent. As explained in my previous post, you will need to use another method to send the emails.
Kind regards,

RolandD
