Hi,

I'm trying to import new items in a XML to F2C articles. But nothing get's imported if the XML contains old items. Overwrite Existing Data and Skip New Items are both set to No but nothing get's imported. See attached log file. com_csvi.log.186.zip

Your debug log shows you are importing only 2 items and both exist, that is why CSVI is telling you why it is not updated. Old items shouldn't matter as the check is performed per record. Is one or are both those records new? Are you sure they are new and don't exist in the system, they could be in the trash.

Double checked, but one item is new (deleted also from Trash) and one is old. But still both are skipped. com_csvi.log.187.zip

Hello,
What if you set Overwrite existing data to Yes? Atleast the old article is getting updated? Your debug log shows the error "Article not updated because the option overwrite existing data is set to No", So can you check changing this setting to Yes?

Hello,
Can you post your import file and template XML to check? To get template XML file go to CSVI maintenance page, Select CSVI Pro on first option and Backup template on second option. Select your template and click continue. Download the XML file and post it.

Trying to export, but get the following error. Not sure if it is something for CSVI.

Hello,
Looking at your database i found that there are a lot of duplicate articles already in the tables. I guess that must be because of your imports done before applying the patch file and so you see no difference after loading the patch file. Can you please empty your database table #__f2c_form and run the import again by setting Overwrite existing data to Yes on File tab in your template settings?

Hello,
Regarding the issue you are having with backup templates, it is because of the rule Open & close HTML tag you have to replace entities > and <. Backup templates generates an XML file so the replace value < and > are considered as open tags and since the corresponding close tags are not found there is an error. If you remove this rule you can see the backup template working good.

The patch file attached with this post should solve the issue with your backup templates. Please load the patch file using CSVI maintenance menu and see if the error is solved.

Can you try this modified patch file attached here and run the article import again? Please make sure that you remove any duplicates with your previous imports before running the import.
