Hi, firstly thank you for including the new noninheritable feature for Virtuemart multivariant products.

I would like to ask you if you can give me an example how to use it.
I see three new fileds in the product import template.
custom_noninheritable
custom_parent_noninheritable
noninheritable

In the attached import file which one field i should use so the child product will have only Green color and L size?

Hi, by following the updated Importing Multi Variant custom field document i dont get the desired result.

If i apply noninheritable to the multivariant field then the children dont have the multivariant field at all at their product details.

The desirable would be to inherit the multivariant field but not the values of the parent for this field.

Otherwise is like deconnecting the children from the parent.

Please post screenshots on explaining the issue. That will help me to understand on what is going on with import. Also post import file and import debug log to check the issue. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.

Hello,
Thank you for the video. I see what you are mean with values. With Multi Variant import there are extra entries created for SIZE and COLOR fields. That is because these fields are also string type custom fields. I am looking into this and will post an update on my solution.
