Hello,
In the CSV hereby attached the two lower lines are new (child) products.
These products are not imported.
Kindly help out, thanks in advance.

Hello Gelauff,

Excel always saves the CSV files with a BOM, it's an Excel thing. This isn't necessarily a problem if you set the Auto-detect delimiters to No, it should work in most cases.
Kind regards,

Hello,
There are two issues with your import file. One is that CSV file you attached is UTF-8Y encoded which means it is a BOM file. The Byte Order Mark(BOM) is an invisible 3-characters at the beginning and you can see it in your file. You have to first save your file as a normal UTF-8 file to run the import. Second is that you are having virtuemart_product_id field in your file which says that row in database table already exist and record has to be updated. You need to remove this field from your import file so CSVI will use product_sku field for identifying a record and insert new ones when there is no matching record.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thank you Thurana,

Please accept my apologies, I already made the same mistake with the virtuemart_product_id once before.

Just for your info: I saved the file in Excel 2016 as UTF-8.
In Notepad++ is showed encoded as UTF-8.
This time I converted it nevertheless, but next time I will try without re-converting and I will let you know.
Thanks again and have a nice day.
