Hello,

I try to import vm products (one product and more 8000 child products)
All products imported good, but problem with fields (not all variants appear in the drop-down list)
Using CSVI 7.0.2, Joomla3.6.5, VirtueMart 3.0.18

test page: http://www.designmaster.com.ua/projects/vm/index.php/cartes-de-visite/cartes-de-visite-1-detail

Kind regards,
Viacheslav

Hello,

That is a VirtueMart issue and not a CSVI issue, so you will have to check with VirtueMart support how to show all the variants. The import we checked and is all good.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Thank you for sending the details. The problem was with your settings for Multi variant custom fields on VirtueMart custom fields page. All the string fields were set to unpublished and were not set as cart attribute and cart input fields. I have changed settings for few of these fields and now the variants show on the front end. You need check these settings for all fields.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
The csv file looks good to me, can you send your site administrator login details and database access details as an email to tharuna@csvimproved.com? Please also include screenshot on the product you are seeing the issue so it will be easy to track the issue.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Your debug log shows no issues. As Roland mentioned you need to change the customfield_params field database definition type to Text instead of varchar(17000) in #__virtuemart_product_customfields table. Try doing the import after that and your issue should be solved.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,

Please zip your log files, this makes them much smaller as they are just plain text.

I try to import vm products (one product and more 8000 child products)
There is your problem. I checked product 8320 and there CSVI tries to store a value of 18962 characters while the database field won't accept values larger than 17000 characters. If you want to store this data you must change the database definition from 17000 to a value that will allow all your data to be stored in that. The VARCHAR can't go much higher than 21000, so perhaps you need to change the field to a TEXT field instead. That should solve your problem storing the child products.
Kind regards,

RolandD
