Resolved Missing fields in virtuemart export

Running on Joomla 3.4.4 with CSVI 6.20 and Virtuemart 3.0.10

I want to export the products from virtuemart including the short description and the manufacturers name.
This always worked with CSVI 5.x but not anymore. It doesn't show up in the available fields. Updating the fields doesn't help.

"Found field product_name but this field is not supported. Ignoring this field. "

Any ideas?

Hello,

Received the details and found the issue. The index on the available fields table was incomplete, not sure what happened there but you were missing the action field for the unique index. This made the missing fields appear as duplicates to the database so they were ignored. Fixing the index and updating the available fields brought back your missing fields.

Hello,

Go to Maintenance -> Tasks and click Reset and confirm. After that go to Maintenance -> Available Fields and click on Update.

You should have the fields available now.

Should, but nope. Tried this al ready a few times before making this topic. Unfortunately didn't change anything. Just tried again, just to be sure. Same result :(

Something must be off in your installation. Try this
  1. Install the VirtueMart addon again
  2. Reset the tasks
  3. Update the available fields
If you do not see the fields now, what is on the result page of the available fields update?

Also tried that before. No difference. This time I also redownloaded the addon. Sometimes it ends up corrupted during the download. But nothing changed.

Hello,

That is the wrong log. I meant the one where you go to Logs and click on the last action of CSVI maintenance Update available fields. I would expect to see this line in there

That all actually looks fine. When you go to Maintenance -> Available Fields and filter the list on Import/VirtueMart/Product, you don't get the product_name in the list?

I actually do. Including the other missing fields. Didn't look at the import available fields before. But the problem lies with the export. And that's what I need.

Export/Virtuemart/Product is missing the fields that ARE showing up in Import/Virtuemart/Product

That is very odd because it is the same file that contains these fields. In your previous screenshot where you outlined the 3 VirtueMart custom available fields have been added, that is the part that stores these fields.

Can you private message me login for the site and the database? I will take a look.

Thanks. All fine now. Reason I updated though, is to see if I would get all the values when selecting a custom/special field. Right now it gives only one value while there sometimes are up to 4. Is this possible at all?

See screenshot. Like in this example, there are 3 values. Only one of the values gets exported somehow.

Are you exporting the field Lengte? If so that is expected. You should get all values if you use the fields needed for managing custom fields as explained in the Custom fields import and export document.

Use the fields custom_title, custom_value, custom_ordering to get all the values out.
