Hi,
I have the same problem and I don't find "virtuemart_manufacturer_id" field.
How can I import the manufacturer_id in product importation?

Hello,
We dont recommend the use of ID fields as they are primary key fields and will be controlled by the database. You can use manufacturer_name field instead.

I need to use the id beacuse name comes from an export of a management and in some cases may contain special characters that do not match.

You can use field "manufacturer_id" in product import. But again there is high chance of messing up the database while using primary key fields.

In addition to what Tharuna said, you will need to make sure these IDs exist. CSVI won't add new manufacturers based on the ID, it will only do an update.

in some cases may contain special characters that do not match.
Why wouldn't it match? Do you have an example of this?

That has helped. To make your import work I have created a patch file. Please load the patch file and run the import after that.
