Resolved Madness - Import CSV issue

There is no problem with your csv file but with the setting Create image name on Images tab is set to Yes. You have set this to product_sku, since the product_sku is same for all the images, the query to check the image in virtuemart_medias table says the image already exists and ignores the second and third image. Can you try setting Image name based on to Random and do the import? That would solve your issue. If not, post the latest debug log to check.

Your field is to set the name of the column header from your import file if the column header does not match to CSVI template fields.

You need to have the multiple images set to your file_url field in your import file. Can you send a sample of your import file along with your template XML file? To get template XML file go to CSVI maintenance page, Select CSVI Pro on first option and Backup template on second option. Select your template and click continue. Download the XML file and post it.

I managed to import the products
SKIP rule, skips all products but I have removed that lines that contains the keyword with excel.

If you had difficulties you could have posted your skip rule settings and we could have helped you.

CSV has duplicated lines with same sku etc but with different image but only one image is imported.

any advice how I can have multiple images?

You can import multiple images separated by symbol | like image1.jpg|image2.jpg. You can post your latest import debug log along with your sample import file so we can check on the issue.

1) Products stays unpublished

You need to include the field published with a value of Y or 1.

2) Stock & weight are empty

You need to include the appropriate fields, CSVI can't guess the stock and weight of a product.

3) Skip row if a field contains a word

You can create a rule for the skip rule plugin, this can skip records.

4) Image: title is missing and published is 0

You need to add the file_title field with your titles or set the Fill media fields to Yes in your template on the Options tab.

Fields with set values can be added to the list of template fields, they do not need to be in your CSV file.

I have imported.

The rule is correct and the field is called category_id.

You can see the new value already in the preview assuming it is working.

Sorry I have confused you.
Forget the word "Manufacturer", I mean the CSV file is provided from a manufacturer.

I wan to assign the importing product into existing Product Category. The file contains the id and I want to map it with my categories ids.
For example csv has 38 and I want to change it to 115 (that is my existing category id).

It is possible but that is not the way it is designed because if you have columns with the same name, you have a problem.

As for your first problem, CSVI doesn't make this domain up itself but gets the domain name from Joomla. It sounds like you have the same problems as explained in this post. Have a look at your configuration.php, the live_site should be empty.

CSV with products has a column with manufacturers category id

With the product import you cannot assign manufacturers to manufacturer categories. If you want to update the link between manufacturers and manufacturer categories you must use the manufacturer import and not the product import. The product import is for maintaining products and the manufacturer import is for maintaining manufacturers.

If you want to link your product to a manufacturer you should be using the manufacturer_name field. We do not recommend using IDs because they are maintained by the database. You can use them but then the responsibility for the correct ID is yours. The manufacturer_id field is the field you can use for managing the manufacturer ID.

Why it tries to match them byorder and not by field column???

That is because CSV files are always matched by order and not by field column. The column Your field is used by XML imports.

So if you order your fields in the same order as your CSV file and empty the Your field fields, your import should run.
