Resolved Links in backend messages not working

The links in the messages about indexing the fielsd and installing templates are not working correctly. It looks like '_QQ__QQ_' is added to those links?

Hello,

The QQ is an ancient relic of Joomla, from the documentation:
If you have double quotation marks in your translation values, please replace them with single quotation marks. While Joomla! 1.5 allowed escaping the double quotation marks with \", Joomla! 1.6 under newer versions of PHP don't and require you to escape them as "__QQ__" which throws off Joomla! 1.5's parser.

As the language files are not updated or checked regularly these things stick around. My guess is now that we are moving into newer PHP versions, these things stick their heads up.

The translations are public on Transifex but it is a dying concept as you can see here:

I will have a check for the QQ and remove them in the next release but we are close to the point only a few translations remain. Anything dropping below 50% isn't shipped anyway.

Hello,
It looks like '_QQ__QQ_' is added to those links?

This '_QQ__QQ_' is not added by RO CSVI. Does this happen only with RO CSVI links? May be you have some plugin installed on your site which is doing this?

I have not seen this on other messages yet. Also I indexed the database fields already and added some templates (using the maintenance tools) so I can not reproduce the messages anymore...

Yes the link takes to Maintenance page. So updating available fields and installing example templates directly on Maintenance page is the same.

In the dutch language files I do see the _QQ__QQ_ text. See attached screenshot. Our site backend is in Dutch so this would explain the _QQ__QQ_ text.

This file contains mu;tiplpe _QQ__QQ_ texts.

I am not sure why the dutch language files are there since the translated strings are are in english, but that's besides the point ;-)
