HI,
I can't import via link in frontend. When loggin in and clickling the link the page gets blank (link import k2 articles) or nothing happens at all (link to import k2 categories).

I've check this: https://csvimproved.com/support/questions-and-answers/1117-setting-up-a-front-end-template and I haven't forgotten anything.

Using:
j!3.6.4
K2 2.7.1.
CSVI 6.6.4

Any known problem?

Hello Andy,
There is one known bug with front-end import which will be fixed in our upcoming version. The issue has been discussed in the thread here. Can you check if the solution works for you?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Andy,
The error is when you don't have source file set in your import template. Open your import template on source tab select the source of the import file, if load from server then set the path of the file and save the template.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi,
well, it works when I use the path from the server but I want to be able to upload it from computer and that don't work.

The point is that several people are going to upload their new csv via front end with out having to use FTP to uoload it the server first. That don't make sense. They should be able to upload it from their computer via the import link.

Is that not possible?

Hello Andy,

There is no option to upload an import file from the front-end. The front-end import and export are just a trigger to kickstart the back-end process. The only solution I see here is if you want to use a file upload is to let them login to the back-end and only grant them rights to CSVI.
Kind regards,

RolandD
