Hello,
For the timeout problem check Manage Timeout document.

You need to send us import debug log and sample import file to check on the category issue. To get the debug log check How to get debug information? document.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hey,
my problem is with exporting not importing as it is written in the manual you sent me..
after reading what you sent me im trying to understand if it is possible to do what I need.
it is a very large file, it contains a 5 years old weekly updated, active blog, and its not on a dedicated server so what are my options here? I acctivated the override but nothing changed.. Screen Shot 2018-06-18 at 11.56.33 AM.png Screen Shot 2018-06-18 at 11.56.33 AM.png

I can send you the log but this is a bigger issue for me as it is all the k2 articles..

thanks again.

Hello,

You mentioned both an import (category) and an export (items). The Manage Timeout is only applicable to imports because exports usually continue to run. So let's focus on 1 issue first, the export. The import issue is better dealt with in a topic of it's own. Since you are not an a VPS or Dedicated server, the hosting company most likely won't allow you to override these limits. If your server doesn't run the export via the browser, the only other option left is the command line because this should not have any limits. The command line can be done either via SSH or running the export as a cronjob.

Since SSH is usually a step too far, let's look at the cronjob. We have explained in the Setting up a cron-job document on how to do that. If you have CSVI write the export file to a place on your server you can download it from there after the job has finished.

Let us know how things go.
Kind regards,

RolandD
