There is a little confusion here, because I forgot to mention that JSON support is for import only at the moment. Your question made me think about that. There cannot be a fixed JSON support because a JSON layout can differ from system to system as well much like the XML export. I checked but we cannot use the XML system to export a JSON file.
We should add something like we did for the XML where you can define the structure of your JSON output. What is the JSON structure you are looking for to export?
