Resolved Joomla menu export with csvi

Hello again...this is my second topic in this forum...

My question is....

Is there any way that i can export my virtuemart ehop menu (with virtuemart categories and subcategories linked to menu items) with CSVI and import the menu to a new site (i have already imported virtuemart products and categories into the new site), so i dont have to make manually the menu and link all the categories manually to menu items ?

I found an old post in this forum that the most recent answer was before 7 months...at this time Ronald had answered that there is no way for csvi to export and import joomla menu and that this function is scheduled for csvi 6 version...

So is now any way?

My name is Roland ;)

Menu items import/export has not yet been completed but it is not forgotten. It will take a few more weeks before I an finish this. If you can wait for it, I can send you a pre-release when it is ready enough to be used. If not, you will have to do the menus manually.

Hello,

I haven't been able to finish it yet due to work on the 6.4.x releases. The plan is still to include it in the 6.5 release. If you are interested I can send you a pre-release when it is ready for usage. This won't be until January because it is holiday time.

Hello,
I am also looking for a way to find a quick start for menu items. So far I can only export menutype and menu_text. Do you have a way to export menu items and sub items?

Do you have a way to export menu items and sub items?

We are not sure about your problem but If you are missing any fields try updating your available fields so you have them for exporting. If that doesnt solve your issue, you need to explain in detail the issue you have so we can help you further.
