Can I export J2Store orders in Joomla 3 to J2Commerce in Joomla 6?
Or are these tables too different? Do you know?
If so, wich plugin and template do I have to use in the target site?

TIA and kind regards,
Joris

Hi Joris,

Can I export J2Store orders in Joomla 3 to J2Commerce in Joomla 6?

Yes you can export J2Store orders from Joomla 3 using J2Store Order export template and import them to J2Commerce using J2Commerce Order import template.

Or are these tables too different? Do you know?

Yes there has been changes to Orders table from J2Store to J2Commerce. One basic change is the primary key field j2store_order_id is now j2commerce_order_id. You can refer to the document https://docs.j2commerce.com/developer/getting-started/database-schema-reference/ for changes with these tables.

If so, wich plugin and template do I have to use in the target site?

In target site you need to install RO CSVI core package along with RO CSVI - J2Commerce addon. You can then use J2Commerce Order import template to import orders. You can also install J2Commerce example templates and use J2Commerce order import template to start with.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thanks.
It appears that a link to Joomla users is being sought; however, no such link exists, as they are all guests. Consequently, the import—using the "Example J2Commerce Order Import" template—seems to be failing. Is it possible to bypass this check?

Thanks again and greetings,
Joris
