Hi Roland,

Have the following issues/questions abt the Replace Rule:

See attached screenshot from a setup.

1. We need to achieve the following:

For example: replace COM_VIRTUEMART_CFVALUE_TIPS with Fahrzeuge & Teile > Fahrzeugersatzteile & -zubehör > Kfz-Teile > Kfz-Auspuff and COM_VIRTUEMART_CFVALUE_SUSPENSIONS with Fahrzeuge & Teile > Fahrzeugersatzteile & -zubehör > Kfz-Teile > Aufhängungsteile für Autos.

One could say that you can achieve this with multiple rules but we have quite a few text to replace; also i noticed the 'Multiple Values' options; does it have to do with this maybe? What is the correct syntax in the Find/Replace fields?

2. It seems that CSVI doesn't like the COM_VIRTUEMART_CFVALUE_TIPS string? Maybe the underscores? Because during export i get the attached error. The export finishes, but the relevant field using the replace rule is empty.

Would appreciate your feedback!

Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,

The replacement rule setup is incorrect. Did you see the Replacements tutorials?

The error has nothing to do with the strings you put in there, just using regular expressions require a different format. If you read the tutorial you will see where it goes wrong.

Since you are using exact strings, I would say you should be OK using the Regular text replacement.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Thanks Roland,

I rechecked the tutorial and you are right, Regular Text replacements solved the issue.
