Resolved Incorrect Custom Fields Import

Hi.
PHP version 5.6.14
Joomla! version 3.4.8
CSVI Pro version 5.21.2
Virtuemart version 3.0.12


When importing custom fields in the filter (Virtuemart 3 multiple customfield plugin) instead of assigning the commodity value ( color) - creates a new field in the filter and each subsequent product is assigned a number of identical color values ​​. I tried to install the latest version CSVI, but then the custom fields are no longer imported. How can I fix it ?

Hello,

Since you are on Joomla 3 with VirtueMart 3, you really should be using CSVI 6. The support for CSVI 5 has ended and there won't be any more development done on CSVI 5.

The file you posted, FORTE.csv, is strange, I can't open it as a normal CSV file. The first 2 lines are OK but after that everything seems broken. The file as it is now can't be read by CSV due to the line breaks and not using any text enclosure.

So, my suggestion would be to fix the CSV file first, install CSVI 6 as well. Once that is done, let's see what is going wrong where. You can check the CSV file in CSVI by going to Maintenance -> Analyzer. Load the CSV file and check if it looks OK. After I added the text enclosure " to the first record, it looked OK.

Installed CSVI 6 , set the text delimiter " and the import was successful . Thank you for your help!
