Hi,
I'm importing product categories in English into a virtuemart shop with main language German.
The German categories exist already.

When importing a main category translation with a sub-category, the translated 'category_name' of the sub-category is set correctly.
But the translated 'category_name' of the main category is always overwritten with the name of the sub-category.
com_csvi.log.133.zip vm_categories_en_test.csv com_csvi.log.133.zip vm_categories_en_test.csv csvi_templates_wp11212578.server-he.de_20180124.xml
How can I prevent that the translation of 'category_name' of the main category is overwritten?

Thank you in advance.

Heinrich

Hello,
I do see the issue that sub category name has been used for main category_name from your debug log queries but running import with your template and your import file gets me the right category_name(Screenshot attached). Which version of CSVI VirtueMart addon you are using? If you are running any old version of the CSVI VirtueMart addon, update it to latest 7.4.1 version and run the import again. You can download the latest extension at CSVI Downloads page and from CSVI Pro Extensions section.

Hallo Tharuna,
thank you for your quick reply.

Following your recommendation, I checked the plugins, they are all actual (please see attached screenshot).
I reinstalled the virtuemart plugin, but on import the main category_name is still overwritten by the sub category name.

Do you have any recommendations, how to solve this ?

Thank you in advance.

Heinrich

Hello Heinrich,
Your CSVI addon versions look good. Can you send me MySQL dump of your Virtuemart category tables? The tables i would need are #__virtuemart_categories, #__virtuemart_categories_de_de, #__virtuemart_categories_en_gb and #__virtuemart_category_categories. I will run the import here and check with data in your categories table.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Heinrich,
Thank you so much for posting the tables. So i ran the import here with your table data, template and file and still could not replicate the error. Can you send me your site administrator login details and database access details as a private message? Will check directly on your site.
