Resolved Importing users from FTP

Hello !

I'm importing, nearly daily, new users with CSVI Pro 6.6.2
My import template works very well but only when I select the input file from my computer.
When I try to load the file from a FTP server it doesn't work

My FTP setting seems to be correct because when I hit the test button in the template page I get the message 'FTP connection successful - the file have been found on the FTP server'
but when I click Import/select file/preview, the resulting message is 'JFTP: :get : bad response' and 'Impossible to read the file from FTP'

What could be the reason ?

Can you also check if the file has proper permission and the folder where the file is placed?

Hello,

Can you update your CSVI version? There has been a fix made for the FTP where it tried to login twice during import and this gave problems to some people. The Check button would only do it once and that works fine as you noticed.

It might be a good idea to run the update on a test site, so you can be sure the issue is solved before doing this on the live site.

I just made the upgrade to CSVI PRO 7.0.2
But the FTP import remains with the same error messages

Hello,
Does your FTP support passive mode? CSVI uses Joomla FTP system and Joomla only supports passive FTP connections. Can you also check in your FTP logs? See if there is anything related to this error.
