Resolved Importing products from subcategories not going well

Hi,

Joomla 3.8.3, VM 3.2.4
Multilingual

I created some categories and subcategories by importing them -> All fine!

Now i'm importing products and as categorypath I have Horse/Cleaning/Clipping machine.
these 3 categories exists and they are subcategories from eachother

After importing, a new category "Horse/Cleaing/Cliping machine" is created and the products are added in this new category. SO he does not recognise the subcategories.
I really tried everything.

Hello,
You have set category separator to be | in your template but trying to import categories with / as separator. In your template settings on Options tab change category separator to / and save the template. Run the import after that.

Yes it is but you don't specify this. The category separator in your template must be / as Tharuna said because your category is imported as Horse/Cleaning/Clipping. As you set the category separator to |, CSVI cannot find this in your path of Horse/Cleaning/Clipping and will treat this as a single category rather than multiple one.

If you want to assign the product to all these three categories you will need to import it as
Horse/Cleaning/Clipping|Horse/Cleaning|Horse

In this case the product is added to all 3 categories.
