Hello, I have the following fields for images in my csv file:
example:

http://www.websitename.com/media/catalog/product/
and also
/m/o/sku1.jpg

The second with the jpg is the location of the images in the zip file I was given. What fields do I have to add to import my images? Also can I import the images in a separate csv with just the sku and image links?

I'm using VirtueMart 3.2.1. and Joomla! 3.7.4

Thank you

If you have images in zip file you can upload them to default VirtueMart location images/stories/virtuemart/product and then use product_sku and file_url with image name in your import file or if you want to import the images using image links then add these image links to file_url field along with product_sku field and set Save images on server to Yes on Images tab in your import template settings so CSVI will download and save images to default VirtueMart image location.

Yes, you can import just images in a separate CSV file with product_sku and image links. Have a look at import VirtueMart images document to know more about image import.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello tharuna, thank you for your reply

If I upload them to the default location will they be recognised by the location that I have on my csv file (/m/o/sku1.jpg) or will I have to change that?

I have another question about the CSVI Cutter available for download. Can you please explain how this works? Do I install it to my website? How do I use it?

Thank you!

If you upload the images to default location then you can just use image name sku1.jpg in file_url field. CSVI will read this image from default location and link them to the product.

I have another question about the CSVI Cutter available for download. Can you please explain how this works? Do I install it to my website? How do I use it?

You can not install CSVI cutter in your website. You need to download the zip file, put it in a location you need and call the file in the browser. Have a look at CSVI cutter documentation for more details.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
