Resolved Importing Excel file in 9.6.0 gives Error

I just installed version 9.6.0. Tried to import Excel file, in the example stage I receive the error message: Cannot assign string to property Rolandd\Component\Rocsvi\Site\File\Import\Xls::$numCols of type int
Please advice.

Hi Tharuna,

The Folder has the right permission. So I followed your suggestion and uploaded the Xls.php file into the Import folder. Problem solved!

Hello,
Please check if the folder components/com_csvi/src/File/import/ has right permissions(755). You can also copy the file from patch file to this path manually.

Hi,

I followed your suggestion. Importing the patch file lead to the error message: Joomla\Filesystem\File::copy([ROOT][TMP]/com_csvi/patch/1773299826/components/com_csvi/src/File/import/Xls.php, [ROOT]/components/com_csvi/src/File/import/Xls.php): Copy failed
Please advice.

This is a known error and has been already fixed. Please load the attached patch file and check the import. Patch file should fix the error.
