Resolved Importing custom fields in a VirtueMart multi language webshop

Good evening

I followed these instructions to import products with 3 custom fields: https://rolandd.com/documentation/ro-csvi/virtuemart/product-import-with-custom-fields
It works fine, but the webshop is in 2 languages (Dutch & French) and I can not find how I have to add custom fields in French as the template for importing custom fields has no language options (like categories have). Can you , please, help me with that.

Hello Lieve,
Ok so you want the title of custom field to be in French and Dutch, based on the language selected on site. In that case you need to use language string as title of custom field in Virtuemart custom fields page, something like COM_VIRTUEMART_PACKING_UNIT and use that in custom_title field in import file. You can then set Language override for this language string for both Dutch and French. Let me know if that helps.

Hello Lieve,
As much as i know, VirtueMart has no option to add custom fields for each language other than for customfieldsforall. Can you give me more details on what custom fields you are trying to import and which import operation you are using? Post some screenshots on your custom fields so i can check.

These are the custom fields. “Verpakkingseenheid” is the most important.
