HI!

I need to import an XML file with 7304 product line inside.

I created the upload template and tested everything with small files such as 200 lines and the import works correctly.

On the contrary, if I try to import the file with 7000 lines, no error is shown to me but only a part is made. Finishing the import.

Do you have any suggestions on this?

Hello,
The attached debug log has entries for the first 20 records. 20 is the default number of lines logged in debug log and as per the attached debug log the products are updated and there is nothing wrong with the entries. After import how many products do you see in VirtueMart Products page?

Can you increase the debug log limit, run the import and send us the latest debug log? You can increase this limit from RO CSVI Dashboard page, click on Options button and on Site tab increase "Number of lines in log file" field.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Good morning, I send you the updated log.

The problem is that out of 7300 lines which are articles it loads about 5000.

If I create a new file with the missing lines, they are read and inserted correctly.

Hello,
The problem is that out of 7300 lines which are articles it loads about 5000.

Can you post your import file and template XML to check? I will run the import here on my local site to see what is going on. To get template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select your template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.

If I create a new file with the missing lines, they are read and inserted correctly.

The debug log posted is for these 500 products and it shows that the products have been updated. We need to check why when you run import using a import file of 7000 products it does not import all the products.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
You can also check if there are any Failure of products by using the filters in the log details page(The page of attached screenshot 1.png). Can you also post screenshot of products you see by using the filters?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
The XML file you sent has only 500 products and running the import of 500 products have no problem. All 500 products are imported like you mentioned. Can you send me the file with 7000+ products?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Yes the file you sent has 7304 lines but in my local site import is done only with first 1000 records. The import finishes after that and without any error. I will look into this and let you know on my findings.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
For some reason when i ran the import today on a fresh installed Joomla and RO CSVI site the import finished without any problem and all 7304 records were imported. There is no problem with your XML file as import finishes if you make them as smaller files. We need to check what is going on when you import 7304 records. May be full debug log of 7304 records can get us some clue. As mentioned earlier, can you increase the debug log limit and run the import and post us the debug log? You can increase this limit from RO CSVI Dashboard page, click on Options button and on Site tab increase "Number of lines in log file" field.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello, I can't understand what this problem can depend on.

Were you able to correctly import the entire file? In the previous posts you found my same error, therefore you cannot verify from your profile? So to get to the bottom of the problem.

I am sending you the complete log file again. :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iDIGYr4T70cicdieMT1MDO2_wbAdtkW_/view?usp=sharing

Hello,
Were you able to correctly import the entire file?

Yes the whole file was imported correctly. See attached screenshot.

In the previous posts you found my same error, therefore you cannot verify from your profile?

Yes when i last did an import on Friday, the import finished with 1000 products. When i tested the import again it finished with all products. Import was tested with your template and your import file.

I am sending you the complete log file again. :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iDIGYr4T70cicdieMT1MDO2_wbAdtkW_/view?usp=sharing

The debug log has 700 entries. I guess importing 7304 records logs only 700 records in debug log. Can you check on these?

1. When import finished how many records do you see under Processed? You can check the screenshot attached and it shows 7304. How many do you see in there?
2. Since import is not giving any error, Can you check if there is any error logged in your server error logs?
3. What if you set the import as a cron? Can you check if it imports all the records? You can check Setting up cron in RO CSVI document to set import as cron.

Hello,
One other thing you can do is create another import template and have two fields product_sku and product_name added. With the same Product.xml import file run the import and check if import finishes.

Tharuna

the problem is in not being able to process all 7304 articles. the report only gives me confirmation of a correctly sent part.

I did the test with a new templete only with the two fields. fields product_sku and product_name added, same problem.

Could this be a server problem?
What should I check? Even if I have no mistakes?

Hello,
I found the cause for the issue, It is not a server issue but an increment in code for self closing tags. Can you load the attached patch file and run your import again? Please let me know if your import finishes without any issue.
