Hi. im importing some products in the virtuemart i started with a test csv file. so i can be sure about the validation of my csv file. but the problem is after clicking on import it import that one file but doesn't finish the importing session. so server keeps going. that causes that i cant edit the imported product or website will become extremely slow
i will attach my csv file to this post . if you need to login to my admin area i can DM your the user credentials . just let me know . thanks a lot

Hello,

This looks like something keeps the server running even though nothing needs to be done. Have a look at the Analyzer documents and see if that tells you anything. Also the debug log will be useful, so make sure you collect the debug information. The log should have some information as well. If you don't see the log with the import results you can find it in the logs/ folder.

I tried the document analyzer. great tool. I removed all the useless columns so no more red alert on my document . but still the problem is there. i installed the firebug. i will send you an screen shot.

Hello,
As per your screenshot there is no response received from the server for the import. Have a look at manage timeout document, set your lines per import to few records or may be to 1 and try doing the import. See what happens then. Post the debug log of the import in case of any issues.

I ran both of these imports with only a couple of products in them. but result is the same.

Hello,
Your debug log says that your lines per import is still 1000 and so the result is same. Go to your import template, click on Advanced button on top to see Limit tab, in Lines per import option set to 1 and try doing the import. This says CSVI to process only one record at a time. See if the import succeeds with this setting.

Hello,
This shows that something is stopping CSVI in running its import. Can you try to set Error Reporting in Joomla global configuration page and on Server tab to System default and try the import? See if this shows any error and post the screenshot of the same. If not, Can you also have a look at your server error logs and see if there is any error logged in there?

I did turn the debug mode on so i can see whats going on behind the scene. i made a screen shot of it (its pretty long) i crossed over credential info . but you can read the rest .
i also make an attachment of the website log itself about the import
(ps im trying to attach the screen shot and files but its too heavy(pretty long screen shot) and your website gives me fatal internal error. could you please send me an email so i can replay the files to you? my email : 0click021@gmail.com)

Here is what i have done
I deleted all the templates and their fields
i made new ones but it didnt work . so i made a really simple csv file with only product name , products SKU and category path and IT WORKED . It was pretty fast actually . so i think there is something wrong with my file that your analyzer cant detect that. i will test their fields one by one and i will let you know what causes it actualy. thank u very much.
(ps i will post this in the forum too in case it can help other users. )
