Resolved Import icecat features in CSVI pro by GTIN

Hello,
In your product import template on Options tab, set Import based on field to be product_gtin instead of product_sku and save the template. Run the import and check.

I tried to run the template based on product_gtin but I am still seeing things in the log like:

Shouldn't it say anything about gtin instead of mpn?

Tharuna's answer is related to importing the data into VirtueMart but your question is about retrieving the ICEcat data based on GTIN. This is not possible because the ICEcat index file doesn't have the GTIN value. They do have an ean_upc field but this field is more empty than filled. So you cannot reliably get data from it. So CSVI uses 3 ways to try and find a product. That is the product ID, if not found it will search for product IDs that are similar (if set in the template), if then still nothing is found it will look for the manufacturer product ID. These are the prod_id and m_prod_id fields.

I don't even see a field that represents the GTIN value in the index file. The ean_upc field is not long enough to match your GTIN number. I don't see this working I am afraid.
