Resolved Import from Google Sheets

Hello to all,

Just wondering, if there are any plans to support imports from Google Sheets directly.

It is currently the trend to work with online sheets, we currently use them for automating our Adwords data import. All our product data is now also on Google Sheets, so for a seamless integration it would be great if CSVI was able to take the data directly from these online files. The Google Sheets API is already mature and well documented so i think it is a good time to consider such an addition. Ultimately we'd like to use Cron jobs to automate our imports directly from Google sheets.

Would appreciate your opinions.

Hello Chris,

Actually I looked at this a few weeks ago but in the case of exporting to Google Docs. My initial finding was that the library they provide is quite large and that got me thinking. So I haven't looked further than that. This is still on my todo list to look further into the possibilities.

It is on our radar but rather a blip than a clearly identified object at this point.
