Hi everyone,

I intend to relaunch a multilingual website with around 700 articles (3 languages).
To get rid of many years of plugins and obsolete template engines we decided to start from scratch with a clean J4 installation migrating articles with RO CSVI.

Going through your tutorials I believe it is all set up right and I´m trying as a first start to migrate just Joomla Field Groups). Which already doesn´t work :(

Export in J3 is working fine!
Import is set up properly and I see a correct preview.
BUT THEN....
I´m getting a Popup window stating:

An error has occured during the import. Below the information received from the server.

Status error: 200
Status message: OK


Done. No further action. No Import. (By the way: Typo in occurred)

Now the info provided doesn´t really help. Log files on the server only show debug messages and no Errors.

I´m new to this tool and it might be a simple solution, but I just couldn´t fin it so far.

So really hope you can help as I´m pretty anxious to have import 700 articles by copy & paste :o

Basics:
Joomla 4.1.5
CSVI: 8.3.0
PHP: 7.4.30

Turn on error reporting from System -> Global Configuration from Server tab. Set error reporting to Development and see if you get details of this error on import.

Done. No further action. No Import. (By the way: Typo in occurred)

Yes there is an error on import so import stopped. We will correct the Typo. Thank you for letting us know.

So really hope you can help as I´m pretty anxious to have import 700 articles by copy & paste :o

Let us find out the cause for 200 error. As of now we have no details on the error. Once that is fixed you should then be able to import articles without problem.

Hello Uli,
Can you please post the template XML and import file to check? I will run the import on my test server and see if I can reproduce that error. To get the template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select the import template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.

Hello Ulli,

Thank you for posting the logs. Attached is a patch file that I believe should resolve your issue. You can load the patch file and then run your import again.

Hi RolandD,

thanks for the patch!

It didn't work...

BUT: I'm out of the office for the next few days and don't have the peace and quiet to look closely. So it could well be that I did something wrong while trying from the airport waiting for my flight.... I'll take a closer look later this week (I'll be back on Thursday).
