Resolved Import Custom Field Plugin TAGS VM

Hello,

I have to accomplish with CSVI pro tags made with the plugin VM

I tried to create a template like this:

Action: Import
Component: Virtuemart
Operation: Custom fields

because I checked with Maintenance> Available Fields availability of the fields that I would use for importing csv with this file:

product_sku plugin_name custom_element custom_title custom_value field_type
Prova-csvi-A Tags Tags parola E

How can I import the tags as if I created them manually directly from VM?

Hello,

You are talking about a custom plugin right? You will need to find out how the data is stored for this plugin. Does it store it in the standard Joomla tables or does it store it in their own tables? If it is stored in their own tables, very likely you won't be able to import it with CSVI.

When we know how the data is stored we can tell you if it is possible with CSVI and how to do it.

Hello,

I am referring to the custom field supported by VM in its default list along with everyone else!
Created the field and published in the details then you just insert the tag.
Each field contains a single tag.

Check out the screens if they have not been clear.

Hello,
You are trying to import custom fields with product import operation, the fields plugin_name, field_type and custom_element are not supported in this import. If you are looking at importing custom fields have a look at Custom field import documentation. Product import with custom fields is to link the products with the custom fields which are already created. Hope it is clear now.
