Resolved Images , Note, Category in Joomla Articles.

Hello,
We have added the support for importing external images into Joomla content as we do for VirtueMart. The patch file is attached with the post. Can you load the patch file and test this feature? You also need to Reset tasks and Update available fields before running the import. Once these are done you will see a new tab Image in your Joomla content import template for your image settings.

An example CSV content will look like

Hello,

1. The images defined in the image description as urls from external webpages are not imported to the website as this is done with virtuemart articles.

Yes, we do not have image processing in Joomla content import as we have in VirtueMart imports.

2. The Note field is not imported to the article.

The field to be used is note and not Note. If you had used note and still it was not imported then post your debug log to check. To get the debug log check How to get debug information? document.

2. I could not find the category field for the article in order to assign it to the template.

You should be using catid or category_path field to import a category for an article. If you don't find these fields Update your available fields and check.
