I made product changes in admin panel of VM. After that I exported all the products. Now I try to edit images alts and descriptions but after import it`s shown only file name in this fileds: http://i.imgur.com/s2T02ag.png

And images thumbs are missing: http://i.imgur.com/3fNScT3.png. But all the images are in images/stories/virtuemart/product/resized/

Set the option Fill media fields to No, so it will use your data from the CSV file.

The thumbs are missing because of this:
`file_url_thumb`='images/stories/virtuemart/product/images/stories/virtuemart/product/images/stories/virtuemart/product/images/stories/virtuemart/product/images/stories/virtuemart/product/vneshnij_akkumuljator_angel_devil_s_intellektualnim_indikatorom-2.jpg'
That path doesn't exist, so that is why VM can't find the thumbnail. Set the thumbnails to resized/name.jpg and the import should be good. Replace name.jpg with the real thumbail name.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I changed path to resized/image.jpg but in fact export made incorrect images names. For example in export file resized/name.jpg but on server resized/name_0x300.jpg. I can use autoreplace in Openoffice but how to make correct images names during the export?

Hello,

You will have to enable the create thumbnails to get it updated. I am thinking, since you only want to update the thumbnail field it might be an option to use the Custom table feature where you create an export of the virtuemart_medias table with only the virtuemart_media_id and file_url_thumb fields. You can update the file_url_thumb field and import it, CSVI will just update that field.

The custom table usage is explained in the Custom tables import and export tutorial.
Kind regards,

RolandD
